What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them... all at once?
Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren't love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she's written. One for every boy she's ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Hey guys!! Welcome back, today I've a little mini review from the much hyped about book: To All The Boys I've Loved Before. :)

Lara Jean has a box of love letters addressed to every boy she's ever loved. They are her way of saying goodbye, except she doesn't always say goodbye to them. One day, in an act of revenge, her letters are mailed and things start getting out of control.

I went into this book with a lot of high hopes. I haven't read any Jenny Han books yet, but some of my favorite booktubers have said that they really loved it. Coming out of this book, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. Yes, I loved the premise of the story, but the characters never really grew on me and I felt like I missed the epic feeling that everyone else felt. Lara Jean is what 16 years old? For a big part of the story, she seemed a lot younger, full of innocence and naivety. I don't know if it was because she's always lived with the guidance of her older sister Margot who is suddenly in college and she's alone or if that's just her personality. The way she handled the big "scandal" of all five boys reading her letters was a bit childish. It would have made my life and me a lot happier if she just admitted to Josh that she still had feelings for him. Josh, I'm sorry but if there's a guy who dated my older sister, is besties with my younger sister, AND might have feeling for me, I'd run in the opposite direction. Lara Jean doesn't do that, she pretends to be dating another former crush of hers, Peter, who just broke up with his girlfriend and is need of a little distraction. Seriously? *Insert Face Palm Here* I waited for Lara Jean to grow up, for her to get a reality check and she did, the last chapter or so of the book. >.< I heard that this is going to have a sequel and I honestly have my doubts. I want to believe that she'll be more mature in the next book, and I genuinely want her to have a happy ending with Peter, but I honestly don't know. To All The Boys I've Loved Before was okay for me, but that doesn't mean I don't recommend it, because there are a lot of people who do so you might want to give a go and see how you feel. :)

Here's Reagan from Peruse Project's Book Review of it (She LOVED it)

When someone's been gone a long time, at first you save up all the things you want to tell them. You try to keep track of everything in your head. But it's like trying to hold on to a fistful of sand: all the little bits slip out of your hands, and then you're just clutching air and grit. That's why you can't save it up all up like that.

3 out of 5 stars

Foreverly Obsessed,
