Summary:
Chase was twelve the first time he arrived in a strange land where dark, ominous clouds never move, ancient trees violently spring to life during Darkness, and people seem to live without emotion. Doctors tell him they’re hallucinations, but he knows his visits are real. She’s there—Sash—and she’s more real than anyone he’s ever known.
His visits stop but, as years pass, the memories haunt Chase. Without warning, the young man suddenly finds himself again in a world called Krymzyn. Arriving during Darkness, he’s rescued from death by the extraordinary, beautiful, but terrifying young woman he first met when he was twelve.
When Chase is thrust into the war of balance against vile creatures who threaten all who live there, Sash helps him understand his purpose in Krymzyn. A dark secret from the beginning of time reveals he might be able to stay there forever. To prove he belongs in Krymzyn and be with the only woman he can ever love, Chase will have to risk his own life in the ultimate battle.

Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog tour for the Krymzyn Tour hosted by Xpresso Book Tours! As always, check out the other lovely tour stops but clicking on the tour banner above :)

Chase has been experiencing headaches since he was little that took him the magical world of Krymzyn. The doctors diagnosed it as hallucinations caused by a tumor, but he knows its real. Years pass before he is suddenly thrust back into the world of Krymzyn and has to help restore the balance with the help of the girl who's been haunting his thoughts.

I enjoyed Krymzyn a lot, but I was kind of in a hang over Raven so I wasn't as excited for the story as I was. Anyway, the world of Krymzyn is wonderfully crafted, I mean look at that name! The writing is rich and powerful and gets you thinking of all the Tree and the colors and everything! The world building was just simply fantastic.

Chase was a great main character. Through him you got to really experience the world and the story. He is a strong and determined character that you easily fall for once the story gets moving. He's a great protagonist and amazing person. Sash is probably my favorite just because she's awesome. She's unique in both Chase's world and her own as she is gifted with these abilities that are super unique. Chase's family was okay. They were kind of side characters and I had expected them to be more active in the book because of Chase's tumor, but once Chase entered Krymzyn, they really went away. The character development was amazing, there were characters you liked and there were characters you didn't.

I thorouhgly enjoyed the plot, but the beginning is a bit slow. For about the first third of the book, Chase just comes back and forth between worlds without really gaining any information and you're just thrown in for a loop. As the story progresses, the writing starts to become more fluid and everything makes more sense.

Overall, I didn't enjoy the book. The ending was pretty good and didn't leave me super hanging which was a nice change for once. :)
